Monastic hospitality is an important part of monastery life. Saint
Benedict, in the seventh century, says that "guests are never missing from
the monastery" (RB53:16), and that "all must be recieved like Christ" (RB53:1).
At present, the nuns run a hostelry where all people, young and old, students, priests, lay people, couples, anyone who wants to spend a few days of prayer, meditation, and tranquility, will find the right atmosphere to find themselves and God. In simple, austere, and still very family-like surroundings, guests can participate in Masses and in the liturgical prayers of the community, and discuss spiritual or personal questions with the nuns.
